THERAPY SPECIALTIES

Navigating a divorce, separation, breakup, or the discontinuation of a situationship can be incredibly challenging. In these moments, clients often require support to process the emotional pain they're experiencing. As a clinician, I am equipped to guide clients through this process, helping them process their emotions in a way that fosters healing. I actively collaborate with my clients to develop coping mechanisms and distractions, particularly during the initial stages of their breakup. As our therapeutic relationship progresses, we work together to identify strategies that help them overcome the low moments they may encounter on their journey towards healing.
-
While some of my clients are in marriages, relationships, or "situationships" that could benefit from healthier boundaries and improved communication skills, many others are single or casually dating and wish to avoid repeating unhealthy patterns with future partners. Additionally, it's not uncommon for clients to face challenges in their relationships with friends and family. My role as a clinician is to help clients gain insight into their relational patterns and equip them with the skills needed to establish healthier connections, whether it be with a romantic partner, friends, or family members.
-
Investing in self-improvement is a valuable endeavor. Many of my clients find themselves in a state of stagnation, unsure of how to move forward. My role is to guide them through this process by helping them rediscover their strengths, clarify their values, and set achievable goals. This approach empowers them to chart a course toward personal growth and success.

“This was my first time trying therapy… and Tiana was referred to me by a friend. To say that my sessions with her have been amazing would really be selling her short! She got me through the hardest period of my life, and she’s been incredibly easy to talk to. She’s very professional, but still found a way to be, not just a therapist, but also a friend! I never felt judged, always felt seen & heard, and she’s done a great job of helping me integrate all the coping skills she taught me, to maintain a level of confidence within my relationships. No matter what you’re dealing with, I’d definitely recommend Tiana! 10/10 experience!”

“I don’t really feel like ME right now! I never guessed that this would be my life. I can’t tell up from down and I don’t know what direction to go. I feel STUCK in my circumstances. The people around me just don’t understand what I’m going through. I feel like I’m at my BREAKING POINT! I’m so tired of feeling this way”

If that is a YES, you're not alone, many people feel this way right before starting therapy. Getting started is the first step to getting unstuck.
